The reservation will be paid upon the arrival of the guests.
General Terms of Service – Sia Split Hotel
Sia Split Hotel, hereinafter referred to as the Hotel, offers and sells hotel services according to the published information, description, schedule, and valid price list, and in accordance with the confirmed reservation/contract, in its own name and for its own account. An agency or tour operator may act as the service provider for the end user, and the provisions of the general terms apply to them as intermediaries. By sending a reservation request, you confirm that you agree with the General Terms of Service of the Hotel, and this becomes a legal obligation. In providing services, the Hotel applies the rules set forth in the house rules, hotel industry practices, and the applicable legal regulations of the Republic of Croatia.
SERVICE PRICE
The valid service price is listed in the offer obtained through the Online Booking System or the reservations department. Contracted services cannot be combined with other promotional offers or packages, unless otherwise agreed. In case of any changes or deviations from the reserved services, regular prices will be charged. No refund is possible for unused services. All types of special services not included in the price are paid for by the guest, and must be ordered during the reservation process or upon request on-site. Prices in euros are informative. The reservation system applies the best daily rates of the Sia Split Hotel. VAT is included in the prices.
TOURIST TAX
The tourist tax is not included in the listed accommodation prices and is charged on-site. The tourist tax is stated in EUR. The amount of the tourist tax is determined by the Assembly of the Split-Dalmatia County and is listed in the price list. Children up to 12 years do not pay the tourist tax, and children from 12 to 18 years pay 50% of the tourist tax.
NOTES REGARDING THE RESERVATION PROCESS
A valid credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. You can choose to enter your credit card details on a secure server or send them to us by fax.
Invalid credit cards may result in the cancellation of the reservation.
The same credit card must be presented to hotel staff at check-in, along with valid photo identification matching the name on the credit card.
Please note that persons aged 12 and older are considered adults and will be charged the full price. When booking accommodation, you are required to include children above this age in the count of adults. If you wish to modify or cancel a reservation, changes can be made online, in accordance with the Reservation Cancellation Policy.
The Hotel will prepare an extra bed upon request for a fee of €30 per night. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or modify a reservation if there has been an abuse of the reservation system or if the reservation was made due to a user error.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
For group reservations:
via pro forma invoice:
- 30% of the amount upon reservation confirmation
- payment of the remaining amount per invoice no later than 14 days before the guests’ arrival at the Hotel
- any differences must be settled no later than 3 days from the invoice date from the Hotel, with mandatory credit card guarantee
credit card payment:
- 30% of the amount will be charged upon reservation confirmation
- 14 days before arrival, the Hotel will pre-authorize the total amount of the reservation according to the offer and in compliance with the cancellation terms
- final credit card charging is done on the day of guest arrival.
For individual reservations:
Reservations at regular prices
Within 2 days before arrival, the hotel reserves the right to charge the total amount of the reservation. Cancellation terms for individual reservations depend on the stay period.
Reservations at special non-refundable rates
The Hotel will immediately charge the full non-refundable amount of the reservation (excluding the tourist tax and possible additional services) after the reservation is made. If the guest wishes to pay the non-refundable full amount directly, payment must be made no later than 24 hours after the reservation.

All bank fees incurred abroad during invoice or advance payments are borne by the agency as the payer (SHA charge code). The paid amount is considered the amount for which the bank in Croatia credited the recipient’s account. All payments for amounts listed in EUR are calculated in kuna at the middle exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank on the invoice date.
SERVICE BILLING AND PAYMENT
The pro forma invoice/invoice is issued based on agreed terms and partner confirmation, and in compliance with cancellation deadlines. Payments are made exclusively in EUR according to the middle exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank on the payment date. Payment can be made in one installment via credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro), debit cards, cash (EUR), or bank transfer.
Late check-out is possible only with prior confirmation from reception and with an additional fee:
- late check-out fee (from 3:00 PM onward): 100% of the price of one night’s stay and breakfast per person.
CANCELLATION TERMS
Cancellation terms for individual reservations depend on the stay period. For the period from November 1 to March 31, 2025, cancellation without charge is possible up to 2 days before the scheduled arrival. In case of cancellation within 2 days before arrival or on the day of arrival, 100% of the total reservation amount will be charged. For the period from April 1 to October 31, 2025, cancellation without charge is possible up to 5 days before the scheduled arrival. In case of cancellation within 5 days before arrival or on the day of arrival, 100% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Guest check-in is possible from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival, and check-out is until 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
If a guest has notified the hotel in advance of arrival outside of reception hours, it is necessary to confirm the possibility of check-in at that time. Guests wishing to check in earlier or leave the hotel later can arrange early check-in or late check-out in advance for an additional fee, depending on room availability.
PRIVACY AND DATA SECURITY
The Hotel is committed to respecting the privacy of all its guests, and the personal data you provide via reservation forms will be used exclusively for accommodation reservations and communication with guests. The Hotel undertakes not to pass on the data to third parties, except as required by law.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR PERSONAL BELONGINGS
The Hotel is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings of guests, unless the damage occurred due to the fault of the Hotel. Guests must secure personal belongings and keep them in a safe place. The Hotel recommends using the hotel safe to store valuables.
RIGHT TO COMPLAIN
Guests have the right to file a complaint about inadequate services. If they notice a defect in accommodation or services, they must immediately notify the Hotel to allow for the resolution of the issue. All complaints must be submitted in writing during the guest’s stay at the hotel or no later than 15 days after the service ends.
CHANGES TO GENERAL TERMS
The Hotel reserves the right to amend the general terms of service, and guests will be informed in a timely manner through official communication channels.
FINAL PROVISIONS
All disputes arising from these General Terms of Service will be settled amicably, and if that is not possible, the competent court in Split will have jurisdiction. These General Terms of Service take effect from the date of publication and remain valid until changed.

The total reservation price can be charged at any time after booking. In case of cancellation, no refund is given.

The same credit card must be presented to hotel staff at check-in, along with valid photo identification matching the name on the credit card.
All payments will be made in euros. The amount charged to your credit card is obtained by converting the price into euros according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank. When charging the credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of the credit card association. During conversion, there may be a slight difference from the original price stated on our website.

Monri WSPay is a secure system for online payment, real-time payments, credit and debit card transactions, and other payment methods. Monri WSPay ensures the secure entry and transmission of card data for both the customer and the merchant, confirmed by the PCI DSS certificate held by Monri WSPay. Monri WSPay uses a 256-bit SSL certificate and TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol as the highest levels of protection for data entry and transmission.
Statement on the Protection and Collection of Personal Data and Their Use
Hotel Sia Split is committed to protecting the personal data of its customers by collecting only the necessary, basic information required to fulfill our obligations. The hotel informs customers about how the collected data is used and regularly offers them the option to choose whether they want their data to be used, including the option to remove their name from lists used for marketing campaigns. All customer data is strictly protected and is accessible only to employees who need it to perform their duties. All Hotel Sia Split employees and business partners are responsible for respecting privacy protection principles.
Statement on the Protection of Personal Data Transmission
The protection of personal data is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Parliament and Council No. 2016/679, as well as the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Monri WSPay, as the processor responsible for the authorization and payment of credit cards, handles personal data as a data processor and in compliance with the GDPR (Regulation No. 2016/679) of the European Parliament and Council, and according to the strict PCI DSS L1 rules for the protection of data entry and transmission.
Monri WSPay uses an SSL certificate with 256-bit encryption and the TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol to ensure the highest level of protection during data entry and transmission.
The personal data used for authorization and payment or for fulfilling obligations under the contract or based on the contract are considered confidential data.

Monri WSPay does not process or use this personal data for purposes other than fulfilling the contract of authorization and payment.
